Brown Discharge?
Just an FYI, this is a little bit TMI...
Ok, so back story, I’m 31 TTC our first. We’ve been trying for almost 6 years....I’ve had PCOS since I was 14/15. My periods are extremely irregular to the point that while we are TTC I take Provera to induce a period. Ok, so to my question....
My period this cycle was 5/24-5/29ish. Normal flow and consistency. Me and my husband had sex on 6/2, again normal everything. On the night of 6/4 I started to cramp on my lower left side, around where my ovary is. This would be cycle day 12. The cramping started around 10-11pm that night and stayed until about lunch time 6/5, CD 13. I honestly didn’t think much of it. Thought maybe I ate something I shouldn’t have. Around the afternoon of 6/6, CD 14, I started to spot light brown/pink blood. Nothing too crazy. My mind started to put 2 and 2 together and I thought it was ovulation pain and spotting. I have problems ovulating so I’m not so in tune as to if and when I ovulate but I thought these were the right signs from what I’ve read online. As the day went on the spotting seemed to stop. But on 6/7, CD 15, the spotting came back and this time it was heavier. From then through today 6/9, I’ve been spotting dark brown. Sometimes it’s just spotting, other times it’s like q-tip sized dark brown blobs. Today it’s been almost non existent until about 30 mins ago and when I went to the restroom before bed, this mucusy brown/clear blob came out. If I wasn’t so confused and it wasn’t so brown I would have swore it’s the kind of mucus you get when you’re ovulating.
I literally have no other symptoms with it other than occasional cramping. But the cramping is like period cramps not stabbing or sharp cramps. I don’t think this is a another period since it’s all old looking blood. But what the heck else could it be? I know it’s not an infection, and it’s not irritation from sex, it’s too early and long to be implantation bleeding (at least I think), so I literally have no idea.
Has anyone else gone through this?
