New partner

Me and this guy been talking for awhile. So we both live in FL. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA and he’s a Physical therapist. Now we’re not together but we want to be together . I want to get to know him as a person and get to know him on a good level before officially being with him. I’ve been hurt before and I just don’t wanna go through that feeling no more. Because I do have a 1 year old he has not met my son yet but we FaceTime all the time with my son. But we’ve been on dates and stuff. I’m just scared I guess

Now I told him I’m moving to AL. Of course he was hurt and now he says he’s willing to go with me. He wants to settle down with me I’m his “happy place” he wants to start a new life with me and I make him so happy. He makes me extremely happy to. Like really happy my ex of 5 years has never made me this happy. He says he’s looking for a wife and such and he’s 24 I’m 22z. I guess he said he’s done playing games and he wouldn’t waste my time because he knows I’m a single mother.

But he says everyone needs someone either as a friend boyfriend or whatever. He even said we can get a 2/2 apartment because he wants me to feel comfortable with my son because he still does sleep with me sometimes so he doesn’t want it to be uncomfortable for me. Is this like a good thing ? I feel like hes trying to roommate instead of being together am I wrong or just overthinking that? He even mentioned getting his own apartment but just being up there with me. If we move together, He said he will pay most of the bills and I don’t have to worry about anything. He stated he wants to take care of me and my son and make us happy. I have never let any man meet my son before. !

I told him I’m not sure but I would love to do that but I will think about it. Because as I do think he’s a good guy and very caring man I just don’t feel as I ‘need’ to put a man first before my goals.!

The reason why I’m moving I got a scholarship through my job in AL at a university there to purse my BSN. I have never moved out the state of Florida m. I have never even moved out the house i was raised in and my sister lives there to. So I am nervous. But I took it because it will be a great experience and I can see change. My dads family also lives there I always wanted to move but always been scared too.

Any advice or anything ??
