Toddler/baby hacks for airplane?

I will be taking my 1 year old on a 2 hour flight in a couple days. He will want to walk around and it will be after his bedtime. What are some good entertaining ideas to keep him happy and content in my or my husbands lap?

Our kiddos flew best on planes when under 2 at night because they would just sleep! I recommend Tylenol before the flight for potential discomfort from the cabin pressure. I always nursed them/had them drink at take off and landing if awake and otherwise had them in jammies and cuddled them with their blanket while they slept.

I fly alone every other month with my now 17 month old. He likes Sesame Street and Daniel tiger. I put lots of episodes on our tablet. Tons and tons of snacks. Also if drinking milk try to bring a few sippy cups of milk. They just test it at TSA to make sure it’s milk. Crayons/color book or small toys is always a win. You can also get a small new toy and introduce it for the first time on the plane. Also bring favorite blanket/stuffy. I have also found out flying early is best for us because he will nap. Night flights don’t work for us because he gets overly tired and screams the entire flight.

Girl we already have a holiday booked before we found out we were pregnant. Our baby will be 6 1/2 - 7 months old when we go. I’m already worrying 😂 maybe lots of snacks, food and bottles if your bottle feeding. An iPad with some films on? The usual, peppa pig etc, I hope the 2hrs go fast for you!

I flew in March when my toddler was 21 months and he slept the whole time. It was a 2 hour flight as well and I think the loud noise of the plane just put him right to sleep. I did have a lot of snacks, and shows on his tablet but we only had to do those things for a little bit.
