Should I try ecv or just schedule a c section?

Also has anyone gotten an ecv were they able to turn your baby and was it painful? How was your experience with a c section?

Mine failed. Ended up with a C-section. I was in pain from surgery and my stomach was bruised from the ECV. It was like adding insult to injury tbh. It definitely wasn't worth it for me but I wanted to say I tried everything before agreeing to surgery

I was given the option of trying the ecv first but my doctor said it was a 50/50 chance of her flipping and even then there was no way to guarantee she would stay that way. She also warned me of the risks of it and admitted it is a painful procedure so I decided to just schedule my c-section but I also never wanted a vaginal birth to begin with.

At 35 weeks my doc said I needed to decide very soon if I wanted to try the ecv. I went home that night, talked it over with my husband, did some research and chose not to do it. The next day, I was having what I thought was my water leaking, so I went in to get checked. They did an ultrasound while I was there and my doc said it was a good thing we didn’t try, as it wouldn’t have worked anyway, the baby was too far descended into my pelvis. I ended up going into labor a week later, had a c section, and a very very smooth recovery.

Same as these ladies. It didn’t work and hurt like hell. Scheduled my c section. Worth trying though.
My c section went well my incision is almost healed and I am back to almost normal everything at two week pp.

Doc tried to turn my baby. I'm not gonna lie it's the most painful thing I ever experienced in my life. My body went into shock from the pain. I could feel my babies head begin to rotate them he would pop right back to being breached. It was painful and nauseating. My husband cried watching the whole event. And in the end it didn't work for us. We scheduled the c section a couple days later. I even tried the flash light at the bottom of my tummy and playing music. I also tried the stretches. Nothing worked. If you have more questions feel free to ask.

Tried it, worse than labor. My doc had a good success rate, too. I ended up going into labor 6 days later. 
I had my heart set on a natural delivery, so I wanted to try everything and I did. Still ended up with a c-section. No regrets, though.
