What should your landlord fix?

Is it my landlords job to fix cracked tile in the kitchen? It was there when we moved in but it’s getting worse.
He takes forever to fix things and then I’m lucky if he does so I hate asking him to fix something

If he knows it was there when you moved in, it's his responsibility to fix it. My concern is you getting blamed for it and if you don't have proof that it was like that when you moved in, he can stick you with the bill. 
I was always told to walk through a rental property with the landlord and TOGETHER make a list of prior damages and both parties sign it and keep a copy.

Not if you didn’t take pics before! You should have done a walkthrough and took pics of everything.. if you didn’t, it’s your responsibility because bet your ass he’s not going to claim it
