How the f*ck does this thing work?!

Okay ladies so I’m using my diva cup for the first time and I can’t get it to work. It keeps leaking! 
I’ve done hours of research, I’ve changed my positioning, I’ve done everything I can do to make this thing go in properly and it still leaks! Should a buy a smaller cup? I’ve given birth to 2 kids, and I have a heavier flow so I bought the diva cup number 2. It just seems like it doesn’t have enough space to expand properly, but I don’t know for sure. 
Please help a girl out!!

Make sure that it’s covering your cervix. I don’t twist mine but I do run my finger around it to make sure it’s around my cervix.

Do you make sure to twist it 360 degrees to get it sealed tight? Mine has leaked when I’m not careful with twisting it. Are you putting it in far enough? Hope it all works out for you, the diva cup is really worth it once you get used to it!

You might need to push it in further or try a different fold. If that hasn’t worked then you may need a different firmness/width. If when you leak the cup is only part full then your cervix may be dipping into it causing it to “full up” faster. If that’s the case you may need a shorter cup. If you’re leaking only slightly it could be from residual blood that’s gotten trapped outside the cup while removing and reinserting. Some ppl solve that by cleaning away as much as possible. If you haven’t yet I’d take the pacii quiz. They also have a very good comparison chart that compares width, length, capacity and firmness. Also just because you’ve had a baby and have a heavy flow doesn’t mean you’ll always need the second size. Some cups are smaller and still have a bigger capacity. Also keep in mind the diva cup is a firmer longer cup and isn’t the best starter cup.
