I’m getting induced next week and I was wondering how long it took from when you got to the hospital to when you had the baby.

Mine took 3 days but stayed in hospital 4 days due to bleeding afterwards

12 hours. My contractions weren’t bad (unlike what a lot of women say).

Induced at 5pm on Tuesday, had baby at 11:23pm on Thursday... 😩😩😩 my cervix wouldn’t dialate. They tried everything, finally they went to the foley balloon to manually inflate it to a 4, after that things progressed pretty quickly.

My induction started shortly after midnight and I was barely dilated or anything. I didn’t start pushing until over 24 hours later. Pushed for about 3 hours then ended up having to have a csection due to baby’s position. Really hoping I don’t have to be induced this time 😭🤞🏼 I hope yours goes much more quickly and better!

Induction started 11am May 8th, baby born at 4pm May 9th ... via C section (she wouldn’t enter my pelvis so I was stuck at 4-6cm for close to 24 hours). The beginning was FAST, so it can definitely move more quickly- this was just due to my baby’s position
