What should baby call my step-mom?

So my parents are divorced and my dad has been remarried for over 10 years. Her and I get along fairly well but she’s not my favorite person. I’m trying to figure out what I would want my baby to call her when he can talk...I don’t feel comfortable having him call her grandma or anything because he has 2 living biological grandmothers. Is it weird for him to just call her by her name or should we try to come up w something cute for him to call her?

So we are having our first and our child will have 4 sets of “grandparents.” He will have my parents (who are still married). My father in law and his wife (she has been my husband’s stepmom for 23+ years). My mother in law and her new husband (they have been married for almost a year). My husband’s former stepdad who he has a very close relationship with and his new wife (he was my husband’s stepdad for 20 years and he has been married for 2 years). We have explained to all of them that as far as names go the biological grandparents (my parents, his dad and his mom) get priority, but everyone will have their own “name/title.” We have also explained that on his side of the family no one will speak ill of anyone else or their contact with our child will be stopped immediately. My honest opinion is the more people to love my child and care for them the better. I think it’s important to make sure the biological grandparents know that they are the priority and then everyone else will have their roles established later. Good luck!!

I just have my kids call my dads wife by her first name. But my step dad is grandpa because he’s been more of a father to me and grandpa to my kids than my biological father. So no, I don’t think it’s weird to have them call her by her first name.

I have a step grandma and we call her by her name but that is what she wanted. Growing up my step grandpa we still called grandpa. It’s really up to the relationship you have with them. If you are close I would ask her what she wants to be called.

I have a stepmom that has only been around for 5-6 years and isn’t my cup of tea per say but she is very present and supportive for my kids. My kids deserve to have a “Nana” (what her grandkids already called her). I spoke to my mother before really pressing forwards about my kids calling her that and my mom agreed that if my stepmom was going to be their lives, there is no harm is them calling her “grandma” or whatever. 
Maybe have a convo with your mom or even your dad and stepmom. We always refer to my dad as Papa first and then add my stepmom after. That way there is no confusion about which gramma I’m speaking about.

I asked my step mum what she wanted to be called. She didn't want to be called nana or grandma or anything like that and instead opted for 'aunty' 
My dad and her are split now so it doesnt much matter anymore, but I had aunties that weren't actually my aunt growing up as a kid, an my daughter refers to my best mate as aunt, so I guess it's a common thing for people who are in a child's life a lot?

I have a child from a previous relationship, and he calls my husband's mom "Grammy". She is, after all, now his grandmother. He's got "Nana", "Mimi", and "Grammy". My stepdaughter also calls my mother "Nana". We're all family, regardless.

I have a step mom and when her kids had kids she chose to be nanna so that’s what my son calls her 🤷‍♀️ was easier to just have them all call her the same thing 😊

My kids have three sets of grandparents haha. My husband's parents are "Grandma and Grandpa" my mom and step dad are "Nani and Papa" and my dad and his longtime girlfriend are "Grandpa and Grammy K" - her first name is Kathleen. It seems to work out!
