Always the bridesmaid

When your friend tells you they got engaged and your happy for them but the second thing you think is just another bridesmaid dress I’ll have to buy and just another wedding that I get to go to single again!! God I hate that I feel that way because I am genuinely happy for them I’ve just got so bitter towards weddings I think because I’ve felt that I’ve maybe found a guy I could see myself settling down with and it never works out. I’m just tiered of always being the friend that doesn’t have a significant other or is the one they are always trying to set up with one of the boyfriends friends. I think the worst is seeing them married/have kids and just being jealous and thinking god I want that so bad.
