Wtf?!!! Any family members harassing you like mine are?

My husband and I have trying to get pregnant for 5 months now and no luck. We recently went to his parents house and the first thing his dad said when he saw me was hug me and say "ARE U FUCKING PREGNANT YET?!" I immediately wanted to start crying. How do you deal with the constant criticism and bullying?

This makes me so mad! We are also ttc in month 18 and recently I saw my in-laws friends and they’re like ‘when are you gonna give __ and ___a grandbaby?!.. they are waiting!!’
I know everyone is waiting.. it’s out of my control. I just said ‘we are trying’ and I think the tone I said it she maybe realized that. So insensitive though.. I have found sharing with family that we are trying helps to avoid assumptions that we aren’t.

We have been TTC for 2 years, and for the first year it was a secret, I eventually had to tell our parents we were trying, and that it was a sore subject, and to please not bring it up. My mom is always the first one to bring it up, so I just had to tell her that I would love nothing more than to give her a grandchild but she needed to be patient and stop asking... I told her if I brought it up we could talk about it, but if I don't to just leave it be. Since then she has been really good about not bringing it up, and so have the rest of our parents.

I hear you. My mom has gotten baby crazy and kept asking. I finally told her at Christmas we couldn't stay trying until May because we'd be in a Zika virus area on our cruise and would need to wait three months. We visit my folks the second weekend of May, she asks "anything yet?" And omg I was pissed. Said too early. Month later again. I haven't been able to talk to her on the phone since. Told my sister she's stressing me out. I'm just glad I live an hr away. I told her she'll know when there's news to tell. So hopefully that will nip her questions in the bud.
Good luck and hopefully they get off your back. It's not easy trying and then having family badger... Doesn't help at all. Not sure why parents do this

My MIL was having her nail salon girl tell me that she wanted a grandchild from us, as well as several other of their friends. We finally pulled my FIL aside and explained it all to him. She's a gossip, and while they struggled to conceive my husband years ago, she seems to have gotten the struggle. 
2 years of trying for us. 
I also recently had to just tell my dad flat out so he would stop asking insensitively.

Ughhpeople constantly bully me about having another and laugh when I say I’m too old. Apparently I am though as it’s been over a year with one early miscarriage and I’m 35. Then they tell me about everyone they know who has had kids in their late 30s while I just die inside,

I had this happen when we were trying for our second. We got pregnant with our first so fast the second took forever. My sil got pregnant without trying and while at a baby shower my aunt said y’all better hurry and catch up! I burst out in tears by we had been trying for almost a year. People just don’t think.

Yup I feel you! We got married in September & have started trying since October and constantly get asked now. I went for dinner with my husband & his mum, the first thing she asked was so any news, are you guys pregnant yet? I felt like telling her to f*ck off
