Bug spray/after bite for toddler?

Question

Any recommendations for a bug spray and after bite for a 2 year old?  I don’t want to use something like OFF and have it sit on his skin all day. He seems to be eaten alive even when I don’t notice mosquitos out. Any recommendations for what to put on the bites? Thank you!!

My friend traveled the Amazon jungle for 8 mos and said NO bug spray worked! Locals suggested citrus juice (i.e.: lemon or lime juice) She swears it was the only thing that helped! I'd suggest juicing your own, or straight-up rubbing lime slices on, rather than buying the pre-made juice (which prob has added sugar & will thus attract bugs) Hope this helps! I've only tried once myself and it seemed to work as well as bug spray imo. Good luck mama!
