Trouble latching without nipple shield
Baby is 6 days old and since beginning has struggled to latch without a shield (got it 1-2x with lactation Consultant). I don’t mind using it in the beginning but don’t want it to be a long term habit. Anyone else start out this way and able to go without later on? If so how long till baby could latch without the shield? My nipples are somewhat inverted which is why it’s tough for him.
