Baby born at 31 weeks after pprom❤

I posted a while ago about my water breaking at 22 weeks! We were devestated and terrified for our son. Most doctors will push you to terminate in a situation like this but thankfully my hospital has been absolutely amazing and has supported my decision to continue with the pregnancy the entire time! I was admitted to the hospital at 22 weeks and spent just over 9 weeks on hospital bed rest. My strong boy held on tight every day and was determined to make it past 30 weeks. Finally yesterday morning at 5am he decided it was going to be his birth day! I woke up with slight spotting and contractions that were coming every 2-3 minutes. They checked my cervix at 8 am and i was 2cm dilated, they decided to start me on magnesium to try and stop the labor. At first my contractions were spacing out, they were every 5-6 minutes but the intensity remained. They then gave me a dose of morphine to relax my uterus but we had no luck. At about 10 am i was in tears and they checked me again and i was almost 7 cm dilated and everything happened so quickly from there on out! I immediately got prepped for my c section since he was breech, i was bawling at this point because i was dilating so so quickly and i was terrified of having a c section. I signed the consent forms, and was on my way to the operating room. By the time i got to the operating room i had to of been close to 10cm because my contractions were about 1 minute apart and i felt the urge to push. Thankfully they were super quick with the spinal and all the pressure went away and i immediately calmed down. Within 15 minutes at 11:19am baby Waylon was born weighing 3lbs12oz and he was only 15 inches long! He came out crying and breathing all on his own. He is now 1 day old and hes off his cpap and they are already weaning him off of oxygen completely! Hes doing absolutely amazing and better than anyone expected. He is breathing extremely well for not having more than 5cm of fluid surrounding him from 22 weeks until now! Im so proud of my little man ❤ i had to share!
