Bleeding W/ rising HCG

Has anyone ever bled in the first trimester and had a positive outcome? I found out the day before Father’s Day that we are expecting our rainbow baby, well the very next morning I started spotting bright red. Went to the doctor Monday and my hcg was at 24. I thought, okay this is my 3rd MC in a row, let me schedule a D&C to have the tissue tested. Well I did one last round of blood work before going in for a D&C and my hcg doubled in less than 2 days. It shot up to 49 but I’m still bleeding bright red. Anyone have any experience with this?
