How Do You Wait?! 😮

I’m about to have my baby, and I’m just wondering how everyone does it, going 6 weeks without sex! Sex is a very big part in mine and my husbands life and I’m worried about the stress of no sexual intimacy, on top of the stress of a new baby, and how it will effect us. How are you ladies dealing with it?

Honestly, between feeding and changing diapers 24/7 and going with very little sleep, sex was the farthest thing from my mind. Plus, postpartum sex hurts for many women so I wasn’t in a hurry. I also knew that there was a huge risk of infection and hemorrhage if I didn’t wait and I wanted to make sure I was able to be home with my baby and husband and not back at the hospital with complications.

Waiting is easy. Everything hurts and baby takes all your time. Everything is chaos the first month (getting better at two months and pray you can get a routine in by three months).
It is hard. It super hard.
Remember to kiss each other and hold each other when things are quiet. I'm three months pp and that's all I've wanted for three months because I cannot relax enough to be with my boyfriend. I have to practice letting go of all the other stuff and being in the moment.

Me and partner have sex regularly but after both my babies my body was in no fit state and nor was I mentally ready so it really wasn’t an issue. The babies brought us closer any way and then when the time came to it we made up for lost time! It’s really not that bad. Your supposed to wait for a reason, I found 6 weeks flew with having a newborn to deal with xx

Haha it’s super easy. My vagina still hurts after shoving a 7lb ball of human through it, it’s generally disgusting down there with all the blood, and we’re both exhausted being up all day and night with the baby. But if we were in the mood we’re both well versed in intimate acts that don’t require penetration.

I’m 2 weeks pp and sex is the furthest thing from my mind. All those blood clots were a big turn off for the both of us 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

We waited and it was fine waiting my experience then and still is sex hurt.... unfortunately I lost my insurance and have yet to make an appointment but sex is def not the same as it used to be.... and I feel bad not that I don’t want it because I do but it hurts and it’s almost not worth the pain. 😭
