Having sex without birth control?

I’m thinking about getting off of birth control mainly because of the things i notice it’s done to my body. Me and my boyfriend truly enjoy having raw sex and finishing inside me. I’ve been on BC for about 3/4 years but I don’t think i can handle the mental and physical toll it’s taking on me. This may be a DUMB question (which is why i posted it anonymously) but i also know how supporting the eve community is BUT

Is there any way to continue for me to have raw sex with my boyfriends without getting pregnant? Is the pull out method the only way? or is there another BC method with less hormonal effects? Thanks you guys
