LUFS?

I was wondering if anyone else has heard of or dealt with LUFS? Apparently it’s still fairly new but basically you have all the signs of ovulation but the egg gets “trapped” or doesn’t release. In my research of possible things going on with me this is one that came up

I think I might have this as well! I went in for an ultrasound at the beginning of this cycle and my doctor told me that I didn’t ovulate last cycle because there was a functional cyst which means the egg matured but did not get released. I got a positive OPK last cycle though, and my temps go up (even though not a very clear thermal shift). What are you planning to do?

I've read about it. I don't have it though. I know one of the signs is a long luteal phase after ovulation (longer than 18 days), but you're not pregnant and you haven't had a period.
