Ingrown toenail maybe??

Alright y’all I need an unofficial diagnosis of my toe. The bottom inner corner of my big toenail is red and puffy ( well the skin around I️t not the actual toenail). The redness kinda goes down the length at the toenail but it’s most swollen at the bottom. I’ve mostly only found info about ingrown toenails, but since it’s at the bottom corner and not the top I’m not sure if that’s what I️t is. Anyone have any ideas? It’s been like this for a week but only felt a little pain for the first time today.

Also I️ work with horses and am on my feet pretty much all day everyday. I️ wear rain boots most of the time that are maybe a little snug but for the most part pretty comfortable.

If anyone has any solutions to my toe crises lmk, I️ know y’all aren’t doctors but I’d love to fix this in my own if possible.

I️ thought about posting a pic but I️t felt weird to put a picture of my toe on the internet lol.
