Baby shower blues

Everyone is bailing on my baby shower😞 I've got 2 friends coming and the rest is family (Mom and 2 sisters) and THEIR FRIENDS!! Wishing I had a better group of friends now...guess I shouldn't be surprised though, I am going through a roller coaster of challenges right now. From having lost my job and home, finding a new job but having to go live in a shelter while trying to save money to get a place, to my babies father relapsing and having to go away for recovery(thankful he realizes what he needs, just bummed he isn't around right now). Things always seem like they are about to get better, then something else happens...4 people in a week have retracted their commitment to come celebrate my new little man...just wish I had more consistency in the good vs bad happening during a time that was supposed to be such a happy time😞...sorry for my rant, just wanted to vent. Everything WILL work out in the end, but right now, in this minute, I'm gonna eat my candy bars(yes plural, I have 3, lol)and pout.
