The dummy brain

Y’all, got this boy who is 95% chill, go-with-the-flow sorta dude. When he stresses he still sounds calm as hell. He has coke out of his way to hang out with me and he lives a good 20-30 minutes away (also v tired and in the late hours) and touches me more than our other friends. But he also doesn’t hit me up first and just straight up leaves me on read. I once asked if he was flirting with me after talking with my mom and he goes “More or less. But your mom wasn’t flirting back.” So he likes jokes a lot.. am I over thinking this? Like I like him and sorta think he likes me back? Or I’m just a huge joke.
