Blood pressure ??

To any mommas out there that had blood pressure issues before, during or after pregnancy that went on meds I have a question.

I am almost a week postpartum. I had high blood pressure towards the end of pregnancy which caused them to move up csection to 38 weeks. Now after delivery my blood pressure was normal right after but increased after day 3 postpartum. Went to the office yesterday and they put me on labetaol. The doctor wants me to take it three times a day! If my blood pressure drops too low then twice a day. But I was wondering if anyone else had taken this medication. Did it work for you and how often did you take it. I have only heard of people taking meds for blood pressure once a day.
