Failed induction- sent home

I had a planned induction that I came to the hospital for on Thursday night and they did cervidil and 4 rounds of cytotec only for me to stay super high, 50% effaced and barely 2 cm. My doctor sent me home this morning after a full day of painful contractions yesterday. I feel so defeated and disappointed and literally cried when they sent me home haha. I have another induction set for this come Thursday but I’m so let down now that I thought I was going to be meeting my baby. And I had everything planned from care for my two year old to having my mom drive 5 hours for the induction. My husband took off two days of work as well and now that all seems so wasted. Anyone else have a failed induction?
