Baby in own room

So my son is 2 months and our pediatrician wants him in his own room/bed now before it becomes a challenge (as he gets older). Totally understand and want it to be a smooth transition, but did this transition make anyone else insanely emotional? I put him down 30 mins ago and haven’t stopped crying ☹️. It just feels like a very big chapter of us always being together is going away. I also go back to work soon, which I know is playing into my emotions now, but please tell me I’m not the only one who is having a hard time with this!!!!
