Am I crazy?

My brother constantly shoves me and grabs me all of the time. He acts as if he is my boss and if I don’t do what he tells me to do, he yells at me, call me names that I can’t even say out loud let alone call someone, etc. My mom never does a thing about this and never has. In fact sometimes she joins in. I’ve been called the worst names since 7/8. Is this normal??

No. This is mental and physical abuse which can lead to MAJOR PTSD. Being treated poorly is not something you should find normal or okay. You deserve to be treated with respect no matter your age.

That is definitely not normal if you mother is joining your brother to call you names. I would say that you need to talk to a trusted adult and tell them about this if you are comfortable. I can’t be sure but this sounds like verbal abuse

Not normal AT ALL. My biological dad is and was very abusive to me and my family for years. People shouldn’t hurt people but family shouldn’t hurt each other especially. Everything he is doing to you will cause issues for you physically and mentally now and in the future. I hope you know that you can get help and that none of this is your fault at all whatsoever. Nobody is allowed to control you but you. Please know that you have people that care. Including me.

No tell someone like a teacher or a friend and ask for help. Its called abuse verbal and physical as well as emotional.
