Pampers Swaddlers vs Baby Dry?

So I’m used to using papers Swaddlers with my baby boy, who is a month old and 10 pounds. We bought Baby Dry this time because they ran out of size 1 Swaddlers in Walmart and let me just say- i hate them. I’ve changed 1 poopy diaper, and already want to return the whole box. It didn’t leak out the top or sides- but THROUGH the actual diaper, when it was only a small amount of poop. Its not even like there was any pee in it either- because i had changed a pee diaper 20 minutes earlier.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I also noticed the baby dry is significantly less soft and less padded- super thin. Can you return opened diaper packages to the store?
