Can a baby tell if someone isn't safe to be around?
Explanation:
This may sound dumb but my daughter went berzerk when my husband's ex-fiance held her. She has seen her many times but this is the first time my daughter has been held by the ex-fiance.
She has been around complete strangers and never acted out like that.
She was screaming and crying and the woman hadn't held her for a whole three minutes.
The woman didn't do anything wrong.
She doesn't act like this around doctors, nurses, neighbors, or family. She is  barely around anyone either and she is 5 months old.

Shes around that age of not liking strangers. My son was like that a lot of the time when a new person held him.

She may sense that you were uneasy when she was holding her. That may have caused her to react the same way.

At a certain age babies start actually noticing who’s holding them, before five months or so they can just be kind of out of it? They’re not that smart yet lmao. 
If there was no reason for her to be crying (not hungry, tired, whatever else) and she continues to be a very happy baby with everyone except for select few, I believe that’s weird. I think people can sense bad energy at any age.
