When did your doctor offer to do this for you? I’m really hoping if I don’t go on my own that she will do one next week at my 38w apt. My husband has been gone for work since February and he’s FINALLY home this Friday. He has all of next week off work then goes back so I need baby to come while he’s off 😭

At my 39w she offered since I am 2cm dilated but my baby's head isn't engaged, my cervix is high, and the check was painful enough so I declined. Baby can cook longer if she wants.

They wont offer one in the UK until your due date...!

My Ob said I can get one at 39 weeks if I want. After today she doesn’t think I’ll even make it to 39. I’m 36+3 and already 1cm/70%
So we’ll see.

My doctor's office offers them at 39 weeks for first time mom's, and at 38 weeks for 2nd, 3rd, etc pregnancies. It's completely optional and only done if dilation has started progressing on its own.

I would ask! They may being your husband schedule is crazy! I would bring it up! I would def bring it up to make sure there is a better chance he will be home
