Confused about period..

For the past 4 months or so my period has gotten lighter. By lighter i mean the flow.

It’s still bloody and dark at times but the pad isn’t fully covered like before. This morning i googled it out of curiosity and it’s appearing as pregnancy. girl what.

What could be the cause of this?

Could it just be that my period just decided to get lighter?

When i go to the bathroom it’s like a big big drop and “water fall” of blood. that’s usually when i bleed or just a circle spot on the pad.

3 years ago i suffered ovarian cysts and even before then it wasn’t as light flow. is this even considered light flow?

I’ve been on birth control for a while now. I’m just curious. Debating if i should go to the gyno because it worries me now. What if i’m pregnant? My boyfriend has came inside of me before and my period has kept coming as normal so i mean i don’t think it’s possible but google got me thinking
