Wedding planning drama!!

I have no idea where to post this but I just need to rant/ get advice.

Ok, so, my fiancé and I are in the middle of planning our wedding for October 2021. Here’s my problem, he’s trying to be super duper Uber cheap with EVERYTHING!! We are going to have about 75 guest in total, so not a whole lot. Catering is going to cost anywhere between $5000-$9000. Which isn’t very expensive at all but he thinks it’s way too much. His plan is to either find a caterer for like $30-$40 a plate or 😂😂 we make or have people bring food. I’m sorry but no!!! I don’t want to have to worry about buying and making food or worrying about people remembering to bring food. It’s a wedding for fucksake!! Oh and to top it all off I want to spend $2000 max on a dress and apparently that’s “a lot”. I really don’t understand what the big deal is all of a sudden. We went to a venue where plates were $90 a person and he was excited saying that’s not bad at all and blah blah blah. Now it’s oh I’m not paying $5000-$9000 for food when we could use that on a honeymoon or a house. I mean in reality both of our credit is shit so it’s going to take a lot more than $9000 to get a down payment towards a house. Idk I feel like I’m completely overreacting but at the same time, this is my wedding... I’ve been dreaming and planning this since I was a teen and now I feels like I won’t even get a sliver of my dream wedding 🥺🥺. I really need some advice on how I can convince him that it’s really not that much when the cost of the venue site only adds about $1000-$2000.
