My ex recently came back to my life. We were together for 3 years, we were young and in high school and didn't handle things well. After 4 years He suddenly came back into my life and we've been talking a little bit and catching up. He opened up and got emotional, and confessed he was still in love with me, apologized for everything he did, he's helped me with my car, and genuinely cares and gets concerned about me. I have always loved him, he was my very first love and I've never been able to forget, it's so hard to remind myself not to jump headfirst and possibly get hurt.

But I truly believe it's meant to be, I have never been so drawn to anyone other than him, all my relationships since we were together were just so empty and I'd eventually be unhappy.

Any thoughts?
