am i doing my squats correctly if my thighs are sore?

i’m currently doing a 30 day challenge and i’m on my second day. I did 50 squats today and i kid u not i almost passed out😅😅😅

My thighs are super sore to the point where it’s hard to stand up after sitting. My butt isnt sore at all though.

are my thighs supposed to be sore? should my butt be sore as well?
