1 week postpartum! How can I find motivation to clean?

My son turned 1 week old today and since we have been home ive only made a mess and just don't have motivation to clean up. Most of what I have to do is pick up my room some and finish folding and putting his laundry away. We share a room and I know I don't bother him if I make some noise.. 
And I'm not exausted as he lets me sleep several hours at night and I'm able to nap when he naps at least once. 
I just lost all motivation to do anything but okay on my phone and have some me time while he sleeps..

You had a baby a week ago, hormones are everywhere and exhaustion sets in- even if you get enough sleep. It’s a mental exhaustion coupled with hormonal shifts. Give yourself a couple days. If it doesn’t improve phone your doctor.

You don't have to clean. Give yourself a break, you just gave birth. Your body is recovering and your newborn will demand most of your time. They are physically and emotionally draining. It's healthy to take time out for yourself. The housework will still be there later, but this time with your newborn is so short and precious. My house looked like we'd been ransacked for weeks on end.

Maybe make a list of to dos and take small steps to complete it ? Maybe small goals like one day clean the bathroom , another day spend 30 minutes doing the kitchen, so and so forth. Reward yourself with screen time. 
I know it’s easier said that done but baby steps!

It’s ok to Give yourself a break.  You just gave birth a week ago, hormones still all over the place.  Take this time to bond and understand your baby.
When I gave birth, I did not cooked or cleaned for around 3 weeks, my husband did the cleaning and take out. I took that time to bond with my son and learn how to be a mom.
