VBAC and Doula

Hello! I had a c-section in June 2018 because my baby was breech. I went into labor naturally 3 days before my scheduled c-section, but just overall hated everything about having a c-section.

Anyway, due with #2 in January (19 months after cs), and my doc has told me that I am a candidate for a VBAC. With that said, my hospital is very c-section friendly and I fear that my doc claims to be VBAC friendly until anything seems less than 100% perfect. I am really just looking for some feedback on anyone who can relate to this scenario. I’m also contemplating hiring a doula and would love some feedback on doula/VBAC.... thanks in advance!
