It took us two years to conceive our first, and two months to conceive our second!!

So, our first baby took us two long years to conceive, and we only finally conceived him on our second round of IUI. We had unexplained infertility, no reason why. Anyway so we decided a couple months ago to start trying for a sibling for our son, I figured I’d rather start now just in case it did take us another two years, and I was so afraid we would have to go through IUI for our second child as well. Well we didn’t really do much special but this past month my ovulation was meggga late, like, cycle day 27. It was SO weird (I was taking test strips). We tried one time around that day (before work the day I got the positive opk). This weekend was my son’s first birthday party, and I felt like taking a test anyway even though I didn’t have really any hopes for this month. AND WOULD YOU GUYS BELIEVE IT!

The very bottom one is from the next morning. I CANT BELIEVE IT! Two months and we’re pregnant!! I’m over the moon, as is my husband. Our son turn one on July 4 so the kids will be just about 22 months apart! I’ve always wanted kids close in age even though I am a little nervous. I am so happy though!!!
