Taking Baby to a Pub

Our friend gets her Canadian citizenship tomorrow and after the ceremony, we're all going to meet up at a local pub for drinks at around noon. Would it be weird to bring my 11 month old? They've all met him and he's a generally very happy little guy, but I'm just wondering if bringing a baby to a pub is frowned upon.

It would be the middle of the day, we'd only stay a couple hours and it's also downtown where there will be lots of Canada Day activities so you'd think there would be other families enjoying drinks. Right? I guess I just what to hear what other parents would do. Thanks!
