How many parents waited until birth to find out gender ?

My bf wants to know, I dont want to find out until birth. 3rd baby , how was it waiting ?

Pregnant with my first and I did not find out. At times i want to know, but im happy with it being either gender in the end.
My mother always told me growing up its one of the last true surprises you have in your life, and i stuck to that.

I found out for my first, but decided to wait till the birth to find out for my second. My boyfriend and my daughter (8 years old) really wanted to know but I put my foot down and said we were keeping it a surprise 😄 one of the first things my boyfriend said after our son was born was that not finding out was the best decision we ever made and now he tries to convince every expecting couple we meet not to find out the gender haha it was truly an amazing experience!

I didn’t want to find out and my husband did. We decided to go my way and wait for the surprise at birth but I ended up not liking it because my husband drove me fucking crazy. He was constantly talking about how bad he wanted to find out and annoying the hell out of me about it. At 32 weeks I caved and had the tech tell him so he knew the last couple months. He didn’t tell me explicitly but I knew from the way he was acting it was a boy. So it was an all around disappointing experience for me. I told him he ruined the whole thing for me with how obnoxious he was. If we ever had another we’d find out so I don’t kill my husband.

We waited till birth and it was an amazing feeling! The doctor held him up so I could see his privates and I’m the one who announced to the room his gender! This time we are thinking of finding out early.

I'm way too impatient to wait but my cousin just had her third baby and she waited until birth. She said it was easy for her since they already had one of each so she didn't really want one gender more than the other
