Fighting bedtime lately?

Anyone else’s LO been fighting bedtime lately? My daughter has been going to bed and falling asleep quietly on her own since she was about 3.5 mo old. But recently, over the last 2 weeks or so, I’m seeing more crying for a few minutes when I lay her in her crib. I haven’t rocked her to sleep since she was a newborn, and I don’t do it now, but it does hurt to hear her cry. Anyone else’s little one doing this lately?

Yeah we went from putting our son in his crib and him crying for 1-10 minutes before falling asleep to now shush patting for half an hour. It’s ridiculous but I’m not just going to leave him to cry every single night if it’s always taking him more than 20 to fall asleep. If this is what he needs at bedtime, ok. He sleeps through the night fine.

I noticed if she’s doing a lot of playing, even though she’s tired, it makes sleeping so much harder. She doesn’t want to stop. If her and her sister are doing a lot of running around and stuff, I have to make our nap time and bedtime routine a little bit longer or she’ll scream and cry because she doesn’t want to stop.

Yes! The last week my son has been fighting sleep. The only thing helping is us laying with him or rocking on our lap. It’s driving us a little insane but hopefully he starts getting past it soon 😊

My son cries sometimes bc he just doesn't want to go to sleep yet.    Lately though ive noticed it takes him way longer to get to sleep.  Like the other night he laid in his bed quiet just looking around and twiddling his pacifier for over an hour
