Baby Sprinkle?

I have a daughter who is 14 months old and am currently pregnant with a boy. My sisters want to throw me a “baby sprinkle” because although I have everything I need for baby, because he’s a boy, I’ll still need clothes, blankets etc. I don’t want them to throw me one because I think it’s a little tacky and gift-grabby but they reallllllly want to. What do y’all think?

Lol you are literally me at the moment. My sisters want to throw me one too, but I always thought it was a bit tacky and greedy (I know all babies should be celebrated, but you know).
I’m thinking of just letting them do something really laid back, like a casual get together somewhere for some finger food and drinks of an afternoon and just making a point that I don’t want gifts 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
