Postpone period

Hey y’all.. I know naturally this is ignorant to ask, but I’m desperate. We booked our honeymoon months ago not knowing my cycle or worrying since I was on birth control assuming I would skip a period with my pills. 2 months ago we decided we wanted to TTC, and I got off birth control . We leave the 23rd of this month for honeymoon and my period is supposed to start a couple days in now that I’m regular off my pills. I’m on my period right now, is it a decent idea to get back on pills after this period ends and extend it so I can postpone my period or will that screw my boy/cycle up to just do that for one month? I live in the US so I don’t think the prescription for postponing periods is available here.. thanks guys
