What patterns do you notice in the names you like?

Husband and I have already 100% agreed on our top 2 boys names, so girls names are always on my mind!
I’ve noticed some weird patterns in the girl names that I like, and I just thought it was interesting...
I tend to gravitate to names that end in the “lee” sound (Ellie, Riley, Lily, etc) but also pretty much any name with an “L” anywhere in them (Leila, Lila, even Adelaide). I have no idea why I’m so drawn to the L and Lee sound, but I just am!
What patterns have you noticed in your taste in names?

My favorite names tend to be the names of English monarchs. Elizabeth, Margaret (my daughter’s name), William, Charles. I don’t like them because they names of English monarchs, I just like classic and timeless names.

To my great surprise, I seem to like somewhat nature-y names. I'm not even really a nature-y person 😂

I love old school names, usually ones with cute nicknames. We're using the name Miriam for our daughter, but we'll use Mira as her nickname. 
My husband likes almost any name that starts with an L. He likes Lane, Lucas, Layla, Lenore, etc.

I like “Leigh” endings and names with an “ay” sound in them... Everleigh, Ava, Ayla, Layla, Hailey...

I’m a big “lee” fan too! I also discovered that I love names that start with B. Brylie, Bentley, Blakely, Brynlee, etc. I feel so basic 😂

My are names that start with “C” not sure why my daughter is Chloe my son is Caden was supposed to be named Michael but it didn’t fit him very well when I seen him, and pretty sure we have set on the name Colton for this one

I really liked girl names that ended in a. Almost every name picked had it. Ella is what I went with. But the other choices were Gemma. Jenna. Bella. Emma. Shayla. Taya. Lol. My second daughter I did the same thing and my husband said no. So he chose and her name is scarlet. My boys had no pattern at all. My first is a jr. but we call him aj. And my second boy was so easy. I went through a few names and found Jaxon. We both liked it and we were done. It took like 2 days to name him. We found out the sex early with bloodwork and he was named by 13 weeks.

I like longer names with nicknames (Benjamin, Jackson, Samuel, etc) and my husband likes short, two-sylable names (Leon, Amos, Eli). I've been trying to push Jackson on him because he has mentioned he loves the name Jack. 😅
