Best car seat?

Question

What is the best toddler car seat? One that can be used rear and forward facing. I have the safety 1st 3-1 but I hate it. It’s impossible to get tight enough in the car, and it moves everywhere. It’s definitely not safe. I’ve tried everything and looked up so much on it. I should of looked up reviews before I kept it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have the Graco 4ever 4 in 1 seat in my car and in my husbands car, I love it. Super easy to adjust and very easy to install. My son seems to enjoy riding in it as well.

I started with a safety first grow and go and I did like it at first. It had cons similar to yours it was bulky, heavy (when switching cars), straps were difficult to adjust for me, and moved around quite a bit. We switched to the Graco 4ever 4 in 1 and I have absolutely no regrets. Its more compact, easy to use, and stays in place. My daughter seems so much happier in the Graco

I've owned 3 of the safety 1st. It's a great seat. It shouldn't be too stiff rear facing. Call your local fire department and have them check it, it may be an installation issue. I have 4 kids and they always find little things wrong. They have had good things to say about the safety 1st. The only issue is that it's only good forward facing in the 5 point harness up to I think 40 pounds and they outgrow the height. So once forward facing, I switch to the Graco Nautilus 65, which is forward facing with the 5 point harness up to 65 pounds. But I don't believe any of the rear facing ones go to that capacity.

I have a graco 4-1 ever. My son is huge! At 3 years old, he is wearing size 6 boys clothes. He has always been very tall. He is 45 lbs. the car seat converts for all stages including a booster that can hold a kid that’s 120 lbs. for my second son, I got him the same car seat. He just turned 3 months old and is wearing 9 months clothes. 
I highly recommend buying the car seats either on black Friday on Gracos website when they have a sale going on (now they have a 15% off coupon code when you sign up) or amazon.
