Gift for baby or gift for mommy?
My cousin and his wife are expecting their first child in a few months. Their baby shower is in August and I've been racking my brain trying to think of what I should get them. I want to get them something that nobody else would think to get. For my baby shower last year, we got a lot of duplicate items and I would hate for that to happen to them. Now I'm thinking maybe I should get something for my cousins instead of the baby. I came up with the idea to make a post-partum care package for the new mommy. I could give her extra numbing spray, pain meds, stool softener, sitz bath, etc. These are all things I didn't think to get for when I left the hospital. I think it could help both her and my cousin during her recovery. Hopefully, it goes a lot smoother than my process did, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared just in case it doesn't. It would be readily available whenever she needs it and he won't have to make trips to the store every other day. Does this sound like a good idea?
