Question: baby position at 26 weeks

I just saw my doctors and the baby is at a Transverse lie position

My doctor said that’s good but he also said I’m high risk since I got in a minor car accident.

Before he left I asked if everything is fine again, and he said yes. You want the baby to start facing down.

I’m confused because when he was looking at the baby he said it’s transverse. Once they were wiping my stomach him and the nurse said the baby was facing down.

Around how many weeks were you when your baby started facing head down?
