What would you do??

So I just picked up my son from daycare and there was another mom picking up her son at the same time. My son is 9 months and her son is in his class- looks about 8/9 months. We parked next to each other and I buckled my son. And i notices she buckled her son in super fast. So opening my car door I looked over and she didn’t buckle him in all of the way. He’s in an infant car seat and She only buckled the chest clip in and drove off. Would you say something to her? What would you do.

I would mind my business . I’m sure she probably checked before she pulled off but even still if you’re buckling you child in and focused on that how do you have enough time to be 100% sure she buckled her’s in incorrectly?

Parent your own child you dont know why she hurried up and dont cause problems for someone because you think its right. She might have done it for the first time.

I’ve been there and said something trying to be safe and it turned into a pissing contest with a bitchy woman telling me off for no reason. You can’t be sure she didn’t buckle him in properly and if you insist you just look like a know it all. I understand wanting to help and be safe but it doesn’t end well in my experience.

I would probably say something to the mom but assume going in that I just did not see her clip the other buckle or that she intended to but thought she had already. You don't make headway assuming negligence or ignorance but it also isn't something I would feel comfortable overlooking. FYI: I have zero issues with you coming to me with a safety concern about my kiddo.
