Spotting after period?

Hi, I recently ended my period about a week ago, however I am still spotting. After a period I normally spot a dark-reddish color and it finally ended. So, here I am, a week later still spotting. I have unprotected sex & yes, I still have sex while on my period. Not sure if that mattered, but I wanted to state it anyways. Any idea why this would happen? Kinda freaking out on the toilet as I’m typing this..
