Is my sister in preterm labor??

So my sister called me and told me she’s spotting bright red and having tightenings and sharp pains in her back she’s only 22 weeks pregnant. When she lays down it goes away but she’s feeling sick and pressure down there. She won’t call her doctor because she’s scared she will just tell her to drink water. I think she should go to er. What do you think??? Should I take her in?

She should go NOW. My daughter was born at 27 weeks and my symptoms were the same I didnt think anything of it and when I called about spotting since it was so little they said dont worry. I was 3 cm dilated the next morning. The NICU is amazing now and I saw a 12 oz baby when we were there. The road is long and hard but they can pull through! I am hoping that shes not going into preterm labor though!
