Anyone else?

I have three kids. My new baby is 3 weeks old,  but for the past couple of days my older kids have been very talkative and have been very touchy and close towards the new baby. Is this normal?
I love them all to death but I'm just saying...Lol 🤣🤣🤣

My 8yo loves his new sister and is always hovering over my shoulder when I’m breastfeeding or likes to pat her face just as she’s fallen asleep... I think it’s normal because it’s all new and exciting but I personally get a little frustrated at times and have had to tell him to stop (then explain why)

Same, my older kids are 3.5 and 6 and they want to touch the baby All The Time! I'm keeping them involved (they fetch a clean diaper, sing her a song, help bathe her, etc) but sometimes I have to tell them to back off. Like, I know she's cute but let's get out of her face while she's nursing!
