Breastfeeding stress anyone? 😫

I’m just so tired and my baby boy seems so hungry all the time! He needs to eat a LOT. He’s a bit of a lazy latcher, doesn’t like opening wide on some days, And my poor nipples are the worse for wear 😫 
I’m just so stressed 😩

I underwent your pain, literally. I switched to exclusively pumping bc of it. Hang in there if you can. I learned about nipple shields after I already made the switch. Maybe try those??? I got a pair just in case.

My baby girl will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and literally she would eat every 15 minutes if I fed her.. I don’t have any issues with production, likely just a growth spurt. Hang in there!

I tried nipple shields and saw 3 different lactation consultants. It definitely helped a little bit but not enough for us. I was too stressed and worried that my baby boy wasn't getting enough, so I switched to exclusively pumping. He's gained a pound in a week! Do what is best for you both, and don't forget to take care of yourself!

I ended up using nipple sh iui olds about 4 days in my nipples were tore up! Were now at day 11 and we're back to bare nipple and shes nursing so much better!

Sounds like he’s cluster feeding. My babe went through that a lot for the first couple of weeks. You just have to let them eat as they please. It will get better!
