Is it a bad idea to move in with your bf of 1 year?

23 yes old.Im getting an apartment and have been planning this anyways. Im also looking for roommates and since i basically live at my SOs house it seems to make sense for us to live together. We both have great credit and are financially responsible.

A year is pretty solid and lots of couples move in after that 1 year mark and to be honest living with some before engagement or marriage is a really good way to find out if you guys are meant for marriage etc. I think moving in is a huge step and it really depends on the couple when they are ready! Whatever makes you guys happy!

Everyone has a different timeline of when things should happen. If you feel ready, then go for it. My fiancé and I got engaged after a few months of knowing each other. Most of which were over the phone since he’s in the army. He came home for a month in May and at the end of the month he proposed. We move in together in September after we get married. Like I said, everyone has different timelines :)
