(Side Note) Any other LEOWs here?? Mines pulling a 16 hour day but hey, it’s triple pay! 😬
We’ve got stuff planned for a little later with my sis n mom but I’ve got a 2.5yr old and a 1yr old, any ideas for this afternoon to do around the house for fun??

I have no clue what a LEOW is, but my SO is at work. Been there since 4 am, should be home around 2. Which will give us plenty of time to run to the store and grab stuff to bring to his sisters bbq tonight

LEOW👋🏻 my hubs is working a 12 today will be home around 6. Our 6 y/o son and me are just hanging out around the house today snacking on foods, playing xbox, and legos, May go out and ride our bikes. Happy 4th to you and your family.

Yes! It sucks but that’s okay! Take the kids outside and play in the sprinkler! Water-balloon fights! 
I’m sure your SO feels bad he’s missing out. It’s hard, I’m an LEOW and an LEO and it is no fun having to miss out on celebrations and family events. I’ve gotten used to it now but I understand how much it can really take a toll. Hang in there and enjoy the time you can, it won’t last forever. Safe wishes to you and your SO and any other LEOs working this holiday 💕

My hubs is always off on Thursday, so it's nice having him around today, he works most holidays. Going to grill some burgers and hop in the pool at his moms.

My husband is at work. He works in the oilfield, so he leaves for 2 weeks and is home for 2 weeks. My 12yr old also happened to leave this week to go spend time with her dad, it’s just me and my 3yr old son 😊

This is the first year my man has had a job that he didn't have to work on a holiday that falls during the week. His old job he didn't get holidays off unless he requested them off in January (for the whole year) or they fell on one of his 2 days off each week. He was in tech support for a 24/7 security company. 
Now he is a subcontractor with the DOD. Today is actually his first holiday off since getting the job. It's kinda nice. I'm off too, which is extra nice.
